1. Platform and Contact Details
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Direct Trip website and related browser-based planning tools made available under the Direct Trip brand (collectively, the "Platform"). The public contact details currently shown on the Platform are info@directtrip.cy.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
3. Eligibility
The Platform is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher. By using the Platform you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
4. Platform Role and Current Scope
Direct Trip currently operates a package-discovery and planning marketplace interface. The public website allows users to browse curated package content, save favourites, compare packages, and use browser-based request or interest forms. Direct Trip is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking engine, airline, hotel provider, or payment processor, and does not itself organise, sell, or fulfil travel packages.
5. No Booking, Payment, or Automatic Online Submission
The current public website does not complete bookings, process payments, collect deposits, issue tickets or vouchers, or guarantee reservations. In the current build, saving or completing a traveler request form or package-interest form on the website stores the information locally in the user’s browser and does not by itself send the data to Direct Trip or to an Operator, unless and until a separate live submission or manual communication channel is provided. Any final booking, payment, or travel contract happens separately and directly with the relevant Operator.
6. Operator Responsibility
Package pages may identify independent travel agencies or tour operators (collectively, "Operators"). Each Operator is solely responsible for its package content, pricing, availability, itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, licensing, insurance, regulatory compliance, and traveler communications. Direct Trip may curate or display listing content but does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality, safety, or continuous availability of Operator services.
7. Pricing, Availability, and Non-Binding Information
Prices, dates, inclusions, exclusions, and other trip details may change before any final agreement with an Operator. Information shown on the Platform is indicative unless the relevant Operator expressly confirms it outside the Platform. Platform browsing, saving comparisons, or saving local forms does not create a binding booking or payment obligation.
8. Acceptable Use and Platform Moderation
Users must not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or abusive content, to infringe intellectual property rights, to interfere with the Platform, or to attempt unauthorized access to restricted areas. Direct Trip may review, moderate, refuse, restrict, hide, or remove content or access where it reasonably believes this is necessary to protect users, comply with law, or maintain platform integrity.
9. Notice of Illegal or Non-Compliant Content
Any person or entity may notify Direct Trip of content on the Platform that they consider illegal or non-compliant by contacting info@directtrip.cy. Notices should include a description of the content, the reason for the notice, enough information to locate the content, and the notifier’s contact details. Direct Trip may review such notices and take proportionate action, including no action, removal, restriction, or suspension where appropriate.
10. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, designs, text, graphics, and other materials owned by Direct Trip are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Operators and users retain rights to their own lawful content, but grant Direct Trip a non-exclusive right to display and process that content as necessary to operate the Platform.
11. Privacy, Cookies, and Communications
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Some preferences and planning data are stored locally in your browser. If you contact Direct Trip directly, or if Direct Trip later activates live submission or operator-messaging features, any data actually received by Direct Trip will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
12. Operator Relationships and Mandatory Consumer Law
If you choose to proceed with an Operator, any booking, payment, or travel contract is formed directly between you and that Operator. Mandatory consumer-protection and travel law, including any applicable package-travel rules under Cyprus, Greek, or other EU law, may apply to that relationship depending on the service offered. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Direct Trip is not liable for operator acts or omissions, offline booking disputes, price changes, cancellations, force majeure events, or losses arising from inaccurate information supplied by users or Operators. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct where applicable.
14. Changes to These Terms
Direct Trip may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute arising from or in connection with the Platform or these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nicosia, Cyprus, unless mandatory law of the user’s country of residence requires otherwise.
16. Contact
For any questions, complaints, or legal inquiries relating to these Terms or the Platform, contact Direct Trip at info@directtrip.cy.
